Dr Jim Clack
Senior Lecturer in Education
I completed my PhD on creativity in mathematics education in 2011 and have worked in educational research since, continuing my particular specialism in creativity in education.
As part of my research work, I have worked on research projects in educational settings in England, Northern Ireland and New Zealand, working with a wide range of individuals from educational practitioners to artists to museum curators. This included a role as a research associate on the FP7-funded research project 'Creative Little Scientists'.
I now teach on both the Education Studies course, teaching research methods and philosophy of education, and the Early Years Education course, teaching creativity and the Curriculum.
